If it leaves a warm, cosy feeling inside to know you’re doing your bit for the environment this Winter, whilst living in the luxurious comfort of your new sustainable home, then Fellside is the place for you.

Rest assured, the rural Lancashire landscape surrounding Fellside in Chipping Village is not its only beautiful aspect. Fellside is a stunning new build development that is helping take care of its surroundings through its sustainable materials and technology.

This Christmas and New Year, you could feel warm on the inside and on the outside, with Fellside’s high efficiency, eco-friendly air source heat pump systems, which provide the homes with optimal thermal performance, whilst being kinder to the environment.

The technical bit

NIBE heat pumps will provide heating and hot water to the Fellside homes. They have a discreet appearance and offer low noise levels, with a collector unit installed externally to the garage. The homes have high levels of insulation to the cavity wall and loft, to optimise thermal performance. The systems are also being supplied with NIBE Uplink to create a Smart Home system, meaning homeowners can control their heating system remotely via an app on their smart phones or tablet to monitor its performance. The NIBE system comes with a seven-year warranty.

On choosing the heat pumps, Director of Chipping Homes, Ken Whitaker, explains: “The rural location of this site, which is in Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, meant that designing a heating system to meet the demand of modern homebuyers was a challenge. The NIBE heat pump system offered a good balance of proven technology and consumer-friendly interface. The use of heat pumps meant no unsightly on-site gas storage tanks or the need to provide access for tank refilling or maintenance, which also helped with the site layout.”

With some of the homes ready to move into this Christmas, Fellside is a luxury development of three, four and five bedroom detached family homes, which includes the elegant Charlbury three bedroom home, the stunning Kingham four bedroom home and the spacious Stonesfield five bedroom home.

Fellside has been designed to reflect and complement Chipping’s natural surroundings and heritage, nestling within miles of open countryside, including forests and working farmland. Chipping itself is home to two highly rated primary schools, with several options for Secondary Education at St Cecilia’s RC and Longridge High School both in Longridge, as well as a choice of highly rated grammar, selective and day/boarding schools within a 10-mile radius, making Chipping the ideal location for family living.

Chipping is just 10 miles from junction 31A of the M6 and 15 miles from junction 7 of the M65, which means it is extremely well connected to the road network. There is also a convenient bus service that links Chipping with Clitheroe, Longridge, Whalley and Ribchester.
